SnowFest

February 24, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

SnowFest is a dazzling one-day winter celebration on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in River Mill Park. Get ready for a day filled with live music, buskers and on-ice performers, and interactive activities to keep everyone entertained. Picture yourself roasting marshmallows, sipping on hot chocolate, and marvelling at the mesmerizing artistry of ice sculptors creating masterpieces before your eyes. SnowFest promises a day of joy and wonder for the whole family.

Debuting on the same day as SnowFest, Snow Village is all about family-friendly fun, featuring interactive snow activities like whimsical snow sculptures, sturdy snow forts, and a snow labyrinth. Snow Village will remain open until Mother Nature decides it’s time to bid adieu.

Mark your calendars and head to River Mill Park for an unforgettable experience that will linger long after the snow melts away. Lace up your skates, bundle up, and join us for a winter adventure like no other in the heart of Muskoka!

We would like to respectfully acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, specifically the Chippewa, Ojibwa and Potawatomi peoples, under the terms of the Robinson-Huron Treaty #61 of 1850, and the Williams Treaties of 1923.

We are grateful to be here. We hope you are too.

Together, we honour all Indigenous peoples – First Nations, Métis and Inuit – for their cultures, their languages, their wise teachings and ways of being, their stewardship and protection of the lands and waters - and life - that have shaped this country since time began.

Together, we commit to acknowledge, to learn, to educate, to create opportunity and to honour sacred places, and to take actions toward real Truth and Reconciliation in support of our commitment to wellness for all, and to walking the path together in respect, peace and harmony for future generations.

G’chi miigwech. Thank you very much.
