Sweet Spring Traditions: The Muskoka Maple Festival Returns

A Sweet Return to Main Street

The sweetest celebration of spring is back! On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Muskoka Maple Festival returns to take over Main Street in downtown Huntsville. From 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the heart of town will be filled with the irresistible aroma of maple syrup, live music, and family-friendly fun.

Festival Highlights & Entertainment

Whether you are a syrup connoisseur or looking for a fun day out with the family, the festival has something for everyone:

  • Traditional Eats: Kick off the morning with the Rotary Pancake Breakfast or enjoy Maple Taffy on a stick throughout the day.
  • The Kiwanis Sap Run: This safe and fun kids' race raises money for children in need right here in Huntsville. The 500m distance for ages 3–7 starts at 9:00 a.m., followed by the 1km distance for ages 8–13 at 9:15 a.m..
  • Live Performances: Experience the energy of live fiddling and square dancing, drumming circles, and street performances including lumberjacks and stilt walkers.
  • Activities & Demos: Explore interactive games like slap shot hockey and skee ball, watch live wood carving, and see maple demonstrations. There is even a firetruck on-site with a fire safety educational tent.

Sweet & Savoury Vendor Offerings

Get ready to explore an incredible variety at the 2026 Festival! With over 70 vibrant vendors lining the street, you’re bound to discover your next favourite find. Our talented artisans and chefs are showcasing their finest, most inspired maple creations—crafted specifically for you to enjoy.

Here is just a sample of what awaits you:

  • Maple Essentials: Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm will have syrup, sugar, mustard, BBQ sauce, cotton candy, and fudge. You can also find pure syrup from Hubbert’s Maple and I’d Tap That Maple Syrup.
  • Baked Goods & Treats: Sugarnuts Mini Donuts is serving fresh hot donuts with maple toppings, while BeaverTails offers their iconic maple pastries. Pierogi Me! will serve pierogis topped with a maple balsamic glaze.
  • Coffee & Drinks: OMG Coffee Bar is crafting maple syrup lattes and maple syrup tiramisu. For something stronger, visit Canvas Brewing Co. for local beer or Copperhead Distillery for maple cream liqueur and moonshine.
  • Gourmet Flavours: Attilio’s Fine Foods is offering Maple Infused Balsamic Vinegar, while Blowing Smoke Hot Sauce brings the heat with "Molten Maple" spicy syrup.

The Maple & Melt Market at Canvas Brewing Co.

The festivities continue just down the street at Canvas Brewing Co. for the Maple & Melt Market, running both Saturday from 11am - 5pm and Sunday from 11am - 3pm of the festival weekend (April 25 & 26). This curated indoor market pairs the cozy atmosphere of a local craft brewery with a selection of artisanal vendors showcasing unique maple-inspired goods and handcrafted items. It is the perfect spot to warm up, grab a pint of local brew, and browse one-of-a-kind Muskoka treasures while enjoying the vibrant energy of the festival weekend.
