Deerhurst Highlands is an 18-hole championship course is a delight to play and arguably one of the best not just in Muskoka, but in all of Canada. Co-designed by Robert Cupp and Thomas McBroom, Deerhurst Highlands opened in 1990 and quickly became a destination of choice for avid golfers.
Your round begins with gorgeous views of Fairy Lake from the first tee box and just gets better from there. Holes four through six offer links-style play, while the remainder of the course appears to be carved from the Canadian Shield itself. It’s both stunning and challenging.
Take a break after nine to enjoy a peaceful marshland view and a beverage or a bite to eat at the Highlands Halfway House before continuing on to the tenth hole where a sheer granite rock face runs the length of the fairway.
Finish off your round with a pint and a bite, or stay for dinner at the rustic yet upscale Antler Steakhouse for AAA Canadian steaks and other exceptional fare.

Looking for a quick yet memorable time on the links? Deerhurt’s nine-hole Lakeside Course will fit the bill.
Built in 1966 and later redesigned by renowned Canadian golf course architect Thomas McBroom in 1988, the Lakeside course is suitable for players of any skill level. It’s ideal if you’re short on time or want to warm up before playing the 18-hole Deerhurst Highlands championship course.
True to its name, Lakeside’s first four fairways skirt the shoreline of Peninsula Lake before heading inland. Don’t let the view distract you!
For a post-round celebration of your almost (or actual!) hole-in-one, head to Maple Pub & Patio where the vista of Peninsula Lake rivals the tasty fare to be found on the menu.

Just minutes from downtown Huntsville you’ll find Huntsville Downs Golf Club - a delightful 18-hole course nestled amidst a tranquil Muskoka forest.
The front nine is nearly a century old, designed by Stanley Thompson in 1925, and later expanded to 18 by John F. Robinson. This mix of old and new with abundant sand traps and rolling greens combine to make a challenging round from the tips or a tamer experience from the shorter tee boxes.
Stop in at the BBQ at the turn for snacks between nines or a meal before or after your round and enjoy the patio overlooking the 18th green.

The North Granite Ridge 18-hole championship course, designed by Jason Miller, is a joy to play. Taking advantage of the elevation provided by the natural granite ridges of the Canadian Shield, it is both picturesque and naturally challenging while remaining accessible to golfers of all skills.
Grab breakfast or lunch at the Halfway House or relax with a post-round drink and meal.

Mark O’Meara Course at Grandview is a members-only ClubLink course, co-designed by PGA Tour veteran Mark O'Meara (1998 Masters and British Open champion) and renowned course architect Brit Stenson, opened to much anticipation in 2001. The 18-hole championship course features elevation changes throughout that offer striking views of Fairy Lake.
The clubhouse is no less grand, with a stone-clad patio overlooking the forest. Enjoy delicious fare at the bistro, which is open for lunch and dinner.
