Maple Taffy at Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm

Sep 27 @ 11:00 am2:00 pm

Sugarbush Hill is a “State of the Art” sugaring operation in the heart of Muskoka who uses the most sustainable fuel, “solid wood” to produce excellent tasting maple syrup and maple value-added products.

On Saturdays from September 6 – October 25, 2025 Sugarbush Hill will be offering “Canada’s Oldest Dessert” – delicious maple taffy! Enjoy the taffy from 11am – 2pm each Saturday.

While at Sugarbush Hill this fall, you can also enjoy the “Sugarbush” Discovery walk (1.2km) throughout a working sugarbush. Try forest bathing at its best with fall colours and the observation of a maze of sap pipelines with 17 forest signs explaining what Indigenous and pioneers used different trees for. Last entrance on to the Discovery Trail is 3:30 P.M. Accessibility to the trail is by donation.

And don’t forget to try the famous Maple Creemee Cups that will join the regular offering of regular cones or waffle cones. Maple cups are offered in Maple Cookie Cup, Maple Fudge Cup or Maple Peanut Cup.

Regular hours to try the Discovery Walk and Maple Creemee Cups are Tuesday to Saturday from 10am – 4pm and Sundays from 12 – 4pm.

We would like to respectfully acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, specifically the Chippewa, Ojibwa and Potawatomi peoples, under the terms of the Robinson-Huron Treaty #61 of 1850, and the Williams Treaties of 1923.

We are grateful to be here. We hope you are too.

Together, we honour all Indigenous peoples – First Nations, Métis and Inuit – for their cultures, their languages, their wise teachings and ways of being, their stewardship and protection of the lands and waters - and life - that have shaped this country since time began.

Together, we commit to acknowledge, to learn, to educate, to create opportunity and to honour sacred places, and to take actions toward real Truth and Reconciliation in support of our commitment to wellness for all, and to walking the path together in respect, peace and harmony for future generations.

G’chi miigwech. Thank you very much.
