Family FUN Day Fundraiser at Camp Muskoka

May 4, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Camp Muskoka is excited to announce its upcoming Family FUN Day Fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at the picturesque Camp Muskoka (1745 Fraserburg Road, Bracebridge, ON). This event aims to raise funds for the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka (CFM) Campership Fund, which provides opportunities for local children to experience the joys of Summer camp, overcoming financial barriers that often limit their access to such experiences.

The day promises an array of exciting and engaging activities. Families can participate in various free activities including archery, outdoor survival skills workshops covering fire and shelter building, guided tours, low ropes challenges, salamander hunting, and classic campfire treats like s’mores. These activities are designed to provide wholesome entertainment for all ages while fostering a deeper connection with nature and outdoor adventures.

In addition to the complimentary activities, families can enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch available for a suggested donation of $25 per family. The proceeds from the day will go directly towards supporting the CFM Campership Fund, ensuring that more children from the Muskoka region can attend local Muskoka summer camp and create lasting memories.
For those seeking an extra thrill, Camp Muskoka will also offer access to its exhilarating aerial park and zip line experience for $75 per person. All proceeds from the aerial park and zip line activities will also be donated to the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka, further contributing to the cause.

“We’re thrilled to host the Camp Muskoka Family Fun Day Fundraiser in support of the Children’s Foundation of Muskoka,” said Scott Creed, Founder of Camp Muskoka. “Every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of summer camp, and through this event, we hope to make that dream a reality for more kids in our community.”

By participating in the Camp Muskoka Family Fun Day Fundraiser, attendees not only enjoy a day filled with excitement and adventure but also contribute to a meaningful cause that directly impacts the lives of local children. Join us on May 4th for a day of fun, community, and giving back!

We would like to respectfully acknowledge that we are on the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, specifically the Chippewa, Ojibwa and Potawatomi peoples, under the terms of the Robinson-Huron Treaty #61 of 1850, and the Williams Treaties of 1923.

We are grateful to be here. We hope you are too.

Together, we honour all Indigenous peoples – First Nations, Métis and Inuit – for their cultures, their languages, their wise teachings and ways of being, their stewardship and protection of the lands and waters - and life - that have shaped this country since time began.

Together, we commit to acknowledge, to learn, to educate, to create opportunity and to honour sacred places, and to take actions toward real Truth and Reconciliation in support of our commitment to wellness for all, and to walking the path together in respect, peace and harmony for future generations.

G’chi miigwech. Thank you very much.
