Algonquin Provincial Park – Rethinking the Beaver

Many of us know that the beaver is Canada’s national mammal, but why is this? From past to present, we will take a look at how the beaver has become such an iconic Canadian species. Join Joey through a year in the life of a beaver colony and discover how important Algonquin’s largest rodents really are. Afternoon Programs are about 45 minutes in length.
Location: Algonquin Visitor Centre (at km 43).
