11th Annual Meet the Researcher Day

Thursday, August 1, 2019 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – at the East Beach Picnic Pavilion

(km 35.4 on Hwy 60).

Algonquin’s Wildlife Research Station invites you to spend time with researchers who use Algonquin Park as their laboratory.  Meet those who study reptiles and amphibians, birds, small mammals, fish, wolves and even humans (through Archaeology).

A barbeque (noon to 2 p.m., or while quantities last) is hosted by The Friends of Algonquin Park in support of research in the Park.

Free draws take place for great prizes generously donated by local businesses and organizations. This event is suitable for all ages.

Valid Day Use Permit or Camping Permit required.
