Your Day at Dockfest: What to Expect

The festivities kick off bright and early with a packed schedule that guarantees entertainment from morning to afternoon:

  • 10am - Downtown Street Parade: The celebration begins with a vibrant downtown street parade, setting the festive tone for the entire day. Last year's parade winner was JJ's Dance Performing Arts Studio, showcasing the local talent that makes this event so special.
  • 10:45am - Opening Ceremony: Official opening ceremonies mark the beginning of the main festivities, bringing the community together for this beloved annual tradition.
  • 11am – 1pm - The Main Event: Bathtub Derby: The thrilling Bathtub Derby takes center stage as creative teams pilot their motorized bathtubs through the waters of the Muskoka River. The competition is fierce, the creativity is boundless, and the entertainment value is through the roof. Last year's champion was Affogato Cafe & Gelato – who will claim the trophy this year?
  • 1 - 1:30pm - Water Stunt Show: A spectacular water stunt show follows the bathtub races, featuring professional performers who will leave you on the edge of your seat.
  • 1:30 – 2pm - Ski Show: The excitement continues with an impressive ski show, showcasing athletic prowess on the beautiful Muskoka waters.
  • 2 – 4pm - Music and Events in River Mill Park: The celebration winds down with live music and family-friendly activities in River Mill Park, providing the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy great food, and soak in the community atmosphere.
